Sequin Graffiti

When I was little, my mom made a lot of my clothes.  And I wanted them all to be covered in sequins.  I thought they were called Q-pins, so when she'd make me a boring cotton dress I would frantically demand, "More Q-pins!" This phrase occasionally gets resurrected when we are, say, in a fabric store with sequined products.
And, while I may have toned down the glittery styles (and thankfully the weird two-week phase of spraying halloween glitter into my hair every day. embarrassing. i wasn't even a raver anymore.) I still appreciate a good show of sequins.  Check out Theresa Himmer's SEQUIN GRAFFITI installations in Iceland.  The five-year-old in me is having a heart attack.
