Dare I?

The Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab is only open to the public on nights of the full moon.  Which, of course, is tonight.  I'm curious because some of their products look awesome.  BUT also hesitant because the first (and only) time I tried to go, Carrie and I drove out to some creepy warehouse area of Burbank,  parked in an empty parking lot, and then knocked on the door of a totally dark garage looking building.  Total victim zone.  Nobody answered.   Kinda creeped out, we went back to the car.  And then we saw this hunched over shadowy person come out of the building and look around quickly.  So we went back thinking- maybe he's opening up?  We opened the door and stood alone in their pitch black shop, surrounded by taxidermied crows and snakes and enveloped by their heady fragrances.  We tensely said, "Hellooo..."  Nothing.  And then, people started yelling from the back room where a slit of light was peeking out from behind the door.  I don't know if it was for help or at each other but, needless to say, we quietly tiptoed out and went home.

But if you look at their catalogue, it all seems pretty fitting.  Maybe they were just weeding out the wusses.
